We at Links depend on volunteers, for support with all our activities. We appreciate those who have been with us since day one. Other people are in to their second year. Some supporters help for a short time and are equally appreciated.
Often people volunteer to complete community service hours. We are in urgent need of students who wish to do their hours at Links. We are always open to this type of volunteering and have plenty of short term jobs that easily help students fulfill their 40 hours.
On May 24th we are joining Armor All National Car Wash Day for a car wash at Dewies Grocery Store. We would appreciate volunteers to come on out and have a great day washing and sloshing.
Also, Melanie Burton is well into organizing a Authors In Action Auction. She has written to a number of authors and has received signed articles from them to auction off. Anyone interested in this should be committed to a couple of months of volunteering at a few hours a week.
People who have computers at home and would like to get some hours in by typing up minutes or doing online research should also contact us.
